In the 1960’s, a Taiwanese girl named 林絲緞 posted her naked photos in the HK newspaper every day. Although the photos were black and white artistic photos, they were breath-taking for readers.  Lots of criticism was fired at her at that moment, but many young girls took her as a mirror and many magazines would mention that they would ask models to take photos just like æž—絲緞. People called that- Sacrifice For Art.

In the middle of 1960’s, lots of erotic movies stars appeared since the censorship was friendlier to the filmmakers. The most impressive actress is Tina Di(狄娜), She joined the film industry in 1966 and appeared in a lot of erotic movies. She was always all naked or had a shower scene in front of the camera. People called her “The sexiest bomb” at that time.

She once said “Chinese erotic movies are not as good as western movies when filmmakers take the sex scene. The actor and actress need to give all themselves to the movies to make a good scene. It is not a problem for me to be naked in front of the camera if it is for the sake of the movie.”

Tina is the role model of a modern female at that time. She is very sensitive to the power relationships between males and females. Afterwards, she started her own business and showed others that her success was not just because of her beauty and sexy but because she was intelligent and hard-working.
